Collection: Challah for Chayalim

We all know the wonderful feeling a fresh challah means to us on Shabbat. How wonderful if we could bring that warm comfort, if only for a few minutes to the soldiers, defending our people throughout the land of Israel, and at the same time, support Israel, the economy, and specifically, support small businesses there.

Challah for Chayalim is a project Butterflake started. This is a project that is near and dear to our hearts. We collect donations and partner with 3 bakeries and 2 organizations to distribute delicious challot and baked goods to soldiers and their families throughout Israel. This project has not only helped the Chayalim and their families but has also helped the small business in need of help during these tough times.
